Pictured left and center are details of a large farmhouse table that was in the Herr-Luke-Fette family for 5 generations. At one point, Pop put the table in the shop and used it as a work table. Yikes! The table was rescued and restored by both Granny and later her grandson David. It now is our dining table. It can seat ten people comfortably. German Texas proud.
The restored kitchen cabinet pictured right was in a shambles, literally. With careful restoration, a Texas cabinet continues to serve Texans.
